A Hybrid Water Heater can be a very interesting type of water heater. Hybrid Water Heaters are super efficient, TWICE the efficiency of standard electric water heaters. This Hybrid type of water heater has a heat pump that is used at the top of the unit to heat the water. The  unit has a Fast recovery for hot water. The HYBRID WATER HEATER qualifies for a federal tax credit. This type of water heater is rarely found in the San Antonio area.
