Services We Offer?

Alamo Plumbing Solutions offers a myriad of services that help with locating, repairing, and getting rid of sewer leaks, sewer clogs, and sewer smells.

Some of the affordable plumbing services  that Alamo Plumbing Solutions offers include:

Sewer Scope inspection

Before a technician can take measures to fix a plumbing issue, the problem must first be identified and located. There are different ways to do this. For a thorough sewer inspection, a hydrostatic test is the best option as it is a surefire way to identify even the tiniest of leaks.

For other more isolated cases within a plumbing system, a sewer scope inspection the best option. Sewer scope inspections entail the use of a camera with a flexible probe. This camera is attached to a monitor which relays a live video feed of your plumbing system.

Sewer scope inspections are suitable for identifying clogs, corrosion, and leaks in your plumbing system.

Additional Drain Cleaning Services

This service is designed to cater to people who have clogs and backed-up drains. There are different ways that can be used to get rid of clogs. These include the use of chemicals, mechanical drains such as hydro-jets, and other tools such as augers.

Technicians use chemicals to loosen and break down small clogs such as those caused by scum, waste food, and hair. These are then flushed away using water.

The use of hydro-jets is usually reserved for serious clogs such as those caused by dirt and mud that has completely blocked the flow of water in a pipe. Just as their names suggest, hydro-jets pump water at high pressure, converting it into a jet that clears out clogs.

When it comes to cleaning backed-up drains, technicians will usually pump away and safely dispose of the sewage, fix the clogged drain and decontaminate the affected area.

Sewer Repair

Depending on the severity and extent of a sewer problem, sometimes you may need to repair or replace a whole plumbing section.

You may need sewer line replacement if your sewer line has not been replaced in a long time or if it is too corroded and has many leaks. Sewer line replacement involves digging up a sewer line, removing it, and replacing it with a new one.

On the other hand, trenchless sewer line replacement, also known as sewer line coating, does not involve the digging up of a sewer line. Instead, a layer of resin is applied to the inner surface of your sewer line, effectively creating a new pipe inside your old one.

Sewer and Drain Cleaning Services

Most drain cleaning requests are usually a result of sewer clogs. After identifying the blockage or the source of the sewer smell, technicians usually employ two methods to get rid of your sewer clog- using chemicals or using a mechanical drain.

The chemical method employs the use of chemicals that soften and loosen clogs in your plumbing, allowing them to get washed away by wastewater. On the other hand, a mechanical drain unclogs pipes by employing the use of tools such as augers and hydro-jets, which are more suitable for removing stubborn clogs.

In cases where a drain clog has caused sewage to back up, thorough cleanup and decontamination of the affected area may be required.

When Should You Get Your Drain Cleaned?

  • If your drain is making gurgling sounds.

  • If the water takes too long to drain from your sink.

  • If you’re getting a sewer smell from your drains.

  • If there are pools of water around your commode.

  • If you have a backed-up drain.

How Much Does This Cost?

Unclogging a sewer line using chemicals or through snaking can cost between $100 to $250. On the other hand, using hydro-jets usually costs between $300 to $600 for most cases but it can cost higher than $1,000 for very severe clogs.
